Men’s Cross Country Finishes in Seventh at LIU Post Invitational

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — Junior Juan Sandoval (Ridgewood, N.Y./Christ the King) led the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) men's cross country team for the second straight race as the Bears competed in the LIU Post Invitational on Saturday morning.

Sandoval covered the 7K course in 34:16 to finish in 38th place overall against a field that featured all Division II teams. Steve Gengo crossed second for SJC in 40th place, just breaking the 36-minute mark.

The Bears head to the site of the Skyline Conference Championship running in the Mount Saint Mary Invitational on Saturday (Sep. 29) at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome starting at 11 a.m.
